Dot Marker Number Sheets (0 to 20)
Focus on identifying numerals 0 to 20 with these fun dot marker activities
Dot markers are such a great invention and they always prove very popular in our house.
So much so that, instead of just dabbing one colour of paint, my kids go over the dots in all the colours that we have, until the dots turn a delightful shade of grey.
Given that dot marker activities are always a hit, we’ve added a new set of printables to the store today: is a set of dot marker number sheets.
These are great for children working on identifying numerals from 0 to 20, especially if they like dot marker activities.
Let’s have a look.
Tell me about these dot marker number activities
This resource comes as a PDF digital download and consists of 21 printable dot marker activities.
These dot marker number printables are designed for young children to practise spotting and identifying the numerals for numbers up to 20.
Each activity sheet focuses on a different number. The number is shown at the top of each page as a numeral, as a word and as dots in a ten frame. The word is written in dotted font so that children can trace the letters.
Underneath, there are lots of circles with numbers inside. Many of those circles will show the featured number.
To complete the activity, children need to dot all the circles showing the featured number.
As well as helping young children with identifying the numbers up to 20, this activity is also great for fine motor skills as children work on covering the small circles with the dot marker pens.
What even are dot markers?
If you haven’t come across dot markers before, they’re essentially little pots of paint with a round sponge applicator on top. When you turn the pot upside down and press onto your paper, they make a neat round splodge of paint/ink on the page.
They’re basically the same thing as bingo markers, and they’re so much fun to use.
But if you don’t have dot markers at home, don’t fret. There are lots of alternatives.
Your child can simply colour the dots using regular markers or crayons, or you can cover the dots using whatever small items you have at home.
Pom poms or counters work well, as do mini erasers or even something small like cheerios will do the job.
Where can I purchase these dot marker sheets?
